While the world at large descends into a miasma of natural disasters and wanton violence, a quieter apocalypse is sweeping through the Wu household. Each family member - single mom Saura, sullen teenager Pam, and wide-eyed 8-year-old Timothy - is struggling to find their own way through a world that is at best hostile to them and at worst indifferent. While Saura and Pam oscillate between the extremes of emotional numbness and raging frustration, only young Timothy can envision a way for his family to move forward.
